Research interests
My research focuses on the mechanical mechanisms underlying cell and tissue morphogenesis. I am particularly interested in how mechanical forces, cell–cell interactions, and the surrounding microenvironment regulate collective cell behaviors, tissue organization, and morphological changes. I also investigate how biological perturbations, such as infection, alter cellular mechanical interactions and influence collective dynamics and tissue morphogenesis. By integrating experimental observations, quantitative analysis, and theoretical modeling, I aim to understand the physical principles governing these processes under physiological and pathological conditions.
